This week has been a busy one in a different way. I have been working on knitting a multicoloured, very oversized sweater in Paintbox Yarns Simply Chunky. This is the jumper from the front:
The main body is knitted in stocking stitch and the sleeves in berry in box stitch. No two pieces are knitted in an identical colour pattern so the back looks like this:
I am now in the middle of knitting a sweater in the same yarn with a similar colour pattern but which is the exact opposite in design. It is close fitting and half the jumper is missing! The best way to describe it is as very cropped. But more about that next week when I am sure it will be finished.
It is gorgeous, a very interesting piece of knitting.
